Silk and Steel is a friendly, family run business specialising in the design and production of special event dresses and custom costumes for the film industry. We understand that the whole search for the correct outfit can be daunting to say the least.
We all tend to rely on family, friends and the lady in the dress shop to guide us on our way,
but do they really understand what you want and what style suits you.
We understand that ladies have areas of their body that they want covered up
and others that they want enhanced.
Most of the ladies I have designed for have been either a very slight build
or are bigger than the standard store sizes.
Some ladies have areas of their body that are not talked about because it is too embarrassing
and the last thing they want to do is stand on show in a dress shop!
We are not a shop, we work with you in your own home,
where you can talk in private about your needs and ideas.
